During the competition period, the vacancies will be filled in specific calls, according to the needs of the school units. Among the available positions are teachers for various subjects, with the possibility of working in 295 municipalities in Santa Catarina. The weekly workload can be adjusted up to 40 hours, depending on the availability of extra classes and the specific needs of each school unit.

Areas of Operation and Requirements

The vacancies are distributed in cities such as Araranguá, Blumenau, Criciúma, Florianópolis, Joinville, Lages, Chapecó, among others. To apply, applicants must have Brazilian or Portuguese nationality, be up to date with electoral and military obligations, be at least 18 years old, and be legally qualified to hold the position. Attractive Salaries and Benefits

Selected teachers will be entitled to an initial salary that varies according to the workload and credentials. For a workload of 20 hours per week, the starting salary is R$ 2,500.00. For those opting for a 40-hour weekly workload, the salary can reach R$ 5,000.00. In addition to the base salary, teachers are also entitled to benefits such as health insurance, food assistance, transportation assistance, and bonuses for years of service and specializations.

There are about 6,600 immediate vacancies, with the possibility of hiring up to 10,000 professionals under a permanent regime. The positions and vacancies are:

Selection Process and Important Dates

The selection process will consist of a knowledge/skills test, which will be conducted on September 22, 2024, for the teaching positions. Candidates approved in this stage will also undergo a qualifications test, which is classificatory and optional. The application fee is R$ 150.00 and must be paid by August 12, 2024.

The security of the competition is ensured by the digital authentication of candidates and the use of metal detectors during the test. Additionally, additional measures will be adopted to ensure the integrity of the process, including the elimination of candidates attempting to circumvent established rules.
