New Electric Sedan from Zeekr Arrives Soon in the Brazilian Market and Promises Incredible Range and Competitive Power for Under 250 Thousand.
Zeekr is speeding up with the launch of new electric car models and battery technologies. The regulatory body in China revealed this week the battery options that will be available in the newly launched electric sedan Zeekr 007, with a declared range of 688 to 870 km.
New Electric Sedan from Zeekr Can Deliver Up to 636 Horsepower
According to data revealed by the official body and published by the site CarNewsChina, the Zeekr 007 will feature two battery cell options: a 75.6 kWh LFP package with a range of 688 km and a 100 kWh NMC chemistry option for a range of 870 km under the Chinese homologation cycle.
Available for pre-order since last month, the new Zeekr 007 is an electric sedan that will become the fourth vehicle in the lineup after the 001, 009, and X.

With dimensions similar to a Honda Accord, the new offering from the Chinese manufacturer measures 4.85 meters in length, 1.90 meters in width, 2.92 meters in wheelbase, and 1.45 meters in height. Its design was developed by Stefan Sielaff and the Zeekr Design Center team in Gothenburg, Sweden.
According to what has already been disclosed by Zeekr itself, the 007 will have rear-wheel and all-wheel drive variants, with powers of 310 kW and 475 kW, respectively. The variants are:
- 4WD, 475 kW (636 hp), 100 kWh NMC ternary battery from CATL-Geely JV, 723/770 km range;
- RWD, 310 kW (415 hp), 100 kWh NMC ternary battery from CATL-Geely JV, 870 km range;
- RWD, 310 kW (415 hp), 75.6 kWh LFP battery from Quzhou Jidian EV Tech, 688 km range.
New Electric Sedan Expected to Arrive in Brazil for R$ 230 Thousand
The Zeekr 007 is set to be delivered in China starting in January with prices ranging from 224,900 to 334,900 yuan, equivalent to R$ 155 thousand and R$ 230 thousand in direct conversion.
With ambitious plans for international expansion, the premium electric vehicle brand owned by Geely has just arrived in Europe with the Zeekr 001 model and is also hiring executives to start its operations in Brazil from 2024.
With global ambitions, Zeekr was developed to operate in a segment above Tesla and mainstream brands and compete with models from German automakers like BMW and Mercedes-Benz. On LinkedIn, one of Zeekr’s job postings is for a Marketing Manager, who will oversee the implementation and development of the brand’s strategy in Brazil.
Meet the First Model from Zeekr
The Zeekr 001 is the first model from the brand, introduced in September 2020 under the name Lynk Zero Concept.
For the design, Geely turned to the design center in Gothenburg, where designers also work with Volvo, a brand controlled by Geely since 2010. The Zeekr 001 measures 4.97 meters in length. Due to its generous dimensions, it offers top-of-the-class space and a record cargo capacity of up to 2,144 liters.
It is 4.97 meters long, 1.56 meters high, 1.99 meters wide, with a 3.01 meter wheelbase, and can recharge 120 km in 5 minutes. The new luxury electric car also aims to impress with performance (272 horsepower or 544 horsepower), with a top speed limited to 200 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds for the most powerful variant.
