The Urban SUV is developed based on Toyota’s new exclusive electric platform, which is currently under development. This model will offer options for rear-wheel or all-wheel drive and will have two options for batteries, although specifications have not yet been released. Compared to other models like the Peugeot e-2008 or Hyundai Creta, the Urban SUV has similar dimensions, with a length of 4,300 mm, a width of 1,820 mm, and a height of 1,620 mm.
Toyota has released several details about its energy transition strategy, including a “nearly finalized” prototype of a compact electric SUV that will be officially presented in Europe in the first half of 2024.
