The City Hall of Caldas Novas, in Goiás, announced the opening of a new public contest for the Municipal Guard. The competition offers 15 immediate vacancies, in addition to 45 opportunities for a reserve list. According to the data released by the city hall, the edital for the public contest is expected to be published still in the first semester of 2025. The organizing body chosen for the selection process was the National Institute of Education, Research, Instruction, and Public Security (INEP Brazil).
The Government of Caldas Novas, through the Superintendency of Security and Mobility (SMM), has even begun the legal process for the public contest. According to Murilo Henrique, municipal superintendent of Security and Mobility, after hiring INEP, the process of defining the general terms and deadlines of the edital will be analyzed.
