SENAI With Free Slots for the Plumbing and Installation Course
The SENAI, in partnership with Compesa, is opening doors for women who want to specialize in the area of plumbing installation and maintenance. A total of 50 slots are being offered, completely free of charge, for the free plumbing and installation course. Classes will begin on September 9th, and registrations are already open.
This is an incredible opportunity for women who wish to enter a traditionally male-dominated sector. The free plumbing and installation course aims to train students to work in plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs, both in residential and commercial or industrial buildings. The training not only technically qualifies professionals but also promotes sustainable practices for the conscious use of water, which is an important differentiator today.
Opportunity for Those Who Want to Train at SENAI
To participate, interested individuals must meet some basic requirements: be a woman, be at least 18 years old, have completed elementary school, and reside in Petrolina. The free plumbing and installation course will take place at the Professor Humberto Soares State School, located in Cohab IV, with an additional 50 slots scheduled for October at the Women’s Lace-makers Association in the José e Maria neighborhood.

With a total workload of 160 hours, the course is intense, but at the same time quite accessible. Classes will be held Monday through Friday, and participants can choose between morning or afternoon shifts. The idea is that, in approximately two months, they will be ready to work professionally, with all the skills necessary to ensure safety and efficiency in plumbing installations.

In total, 750 new professionals will be trained over 30 classes distributed across 15 municipalities in Pernambuco, covering from the coast to the hinterlands.
