Selection in Minas Gerais Opens Vacancies for Young People to Enter the Industry with Scholarships, Benefits, and Vocational Technical Courses.

The Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG), through SESI and SENAI, has opened a new selection process for the industrial apprenticeship program in Minas Gerais, with a Young Apprentice contract, a monthly scholarship of R$ 706.00, a workload of 20 hours per week, and daily benefits.

Aimed at the professional integration of young people at the beginning of their careers, the program combines classes in SENAI units with practical activities in industrial companies.

The training enables participants to develop technical and behavioral skills aligned with the demands of the productive sector.

FIEMG emphasizes that the initiative acts as a structured gateway to the job market by combining recognized professional training with real-life experience in a corporate environment.

Rules to Participate in the Young Apprentice SESI SENAI

The Young Apprentice SESI SENAI program is aimed at those who are just starting their professional journey and need to balance work and study.

Young people between 14 and 24 years old can participate, an age range established in accordance with Brazilian apprenticeship legislation.

It is required that the candidate is enrolled in at least the 9th year of Elementary School or has already completed High School.

The intention is to prioritize those who are still in the process of school education but are already seeking professional qualification and a first experience with a registered job.

In addition to age and education criteria, it is necessary for the young person to reside in the municipality where the vacancy is offered.

It is also necessary to have availability to fulfill the schedule defined for the course and for the practical activities at the company.

This combination aims to ensure that the student can attend classes, participate in work routines, and maintain their educational ties without compromising performance.

Workload, Scholarship, and Benefits for the Apprentice

The Young Apprentice contract foreseen in this selection process is for a fixed term and is designed to allow the continuity of studies.

The workload is 20 hours per week, distributed throughout the week to allow the participant to attend classes in Elementary or High School during the rest of the day.

The fixed scholarship is R$ 706.00 monthly.

In addition to the amount paid directly to the apprentice, the program offers a set of labor and assistance benefits.

The young person is entitled to Meal Vouchers or Food Vouchers worth R$ 20.50 per day worked.

They also receive transport vouchers for commuting to the activity locations.

The program also includes life insurance, ensuring greater protection throughout the contract period.

According to FIEMG, this configuration aims to support the beginning of the professional journey more safely, reducing commuting and food costs.

Cities and Courses with Open Vacancies in Minas Gerais

The opportunities for Young Apprentice SESI SENAI are distributed across different regions of the state, linked to Industrial Apprenticeship courses.

In Paracatu, the vacancy is connected to the Industrial Apprenticeship course in Production Process, in the afternoon shift.

In the southern region of Minas, Varginha concentrates two options: Assistant of Planning and Production Control and Electro-electronic Maintenance, both in the afternoon.

In Montes Claros, there is a vacancy for the Assistant of Planning and Production Control course, also in the afternoon period.

The Steel Valley offers an opportunity in Ipatinga, in the course of Mechanical Maintenance of Industrial Machines, in the afternoon.

In Itajubá, the focus is on the Electromechanical Maintenance course, also in the afternoon shift.

In the Triângulo and Alto Paranaíba region, Ituiutaba offers a vacancy for Mechanical Maintenance of Agricultural Machines, in the morning.

In Uberlândia, there are opportunities for Assistant of Planning and Production Control, in the morning and afternoon shifts.

Other municipalities are also participating in the selection.

In João Monlevade, the training is for Industrial Electrician, in the morning shift.

In Pirapora, the Industrial Electrician course is offered in the afternoon period.

Pouso Alegre has a vacancy for Assistant of Planning and Production Control, in the afternoon.

Steps of the Selection Process

The selection of the Young Apprentice SESI SENAI follows a structured flow to identify profiles that are most aligned with the demands of the vacancies.

The first step is the curriculum analysis, in which basic requirements of age, education, residence, and availability are verified.

Next, the pre-selected candidates undergo a profile assessment, focused on behavior, professional posture, and learning potential.

Those who advance to this stage are invited for an interview with the Human Resources department, during which previous experiences and interest in the industrial area are detailed.

Afterwards, there is an interview with the area manager where the young person may work.

This stage deepens the understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities and the expectations of the partner company.

The final phases include enrollment in SENAI, submission of the required documentation, and completion of the medical admission exam, a requirement for signing the contract.

FIEMG emphasizes that the number of candidates progressing through each stage is limited, prioritizing those who present greater compatibility with the required profile.

Feedback on the progress of the selection is sent via email to participants.

Inclusion, Diversity, and Requirements for Certificates

FIEMG reinforces that it maintains a policy of promoting an inclusive and diverse work environment.

The opportunities within the Young Apprentice SESI SENAI program are extended to people with disabilities (PwD) and workers rehabilitated by the INSS, provided they meet the vacancy requirements.

For positions at educational institutions, such as SESI schools and SENAI units, presentation of criminal background certificates is required, according to Law 14.811/2024.

The documents must be issued from the official websites of the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais (TJMG) and the Federal Regional Court of the 6th Region (TRF6).

How to Apply for the Selection Process

Interested individuals must register exclusively online, on the official FIEMG portal, in the “Work with Us” area.

On the website, it is necessary to create or update the registration, fill out the resume, locate the Young Apprentice SESI SENAI position in the desired city, and confirm the application.

After submission, the candidate should regularly check the provided email, where they will receive all instructions regarding the next steps.
