Friday, September 1, a morning that began like any other in Cabreúva, a city in the interior of São Paulo, turned into a tragedy due to an explosion at a metalworking company located on David Marcassa Lopes Street, in the Pinhal neighborhood. This tragic accident that left fatalities and dozens of people injured caused great unrest in the community, generating concerns about safety in the region’s industrial facilities.

What should have been an ordinary work morning turned into a scene of horror when a violent explosion shook the metalworking company. The tragedy occurred around 10:40 AM when an aluminum melting furnace at the facility exploded devastatingly, resulting in irreparable human losses. The government of São Paulo, in an official statement, confirmed the death of at least two people, leaving the community in mourning and shock.
