The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) authorized on Wednesday (10/09/2025) the appointment of 459 candidates approved in the first edition of the Unified National Exam (CNU) 2024.

The measure, formalized by MGI Ordinance No. 8,730/2025, encompasses notices number 1 to 7, which were part of the CPNU and paves the way for the appointment of new civil servants for the position of Technical Analyst of Social Policies (ATPS).

The decision reinforces MGI’s commitment to expanding the number of qualified professionals in public service.

According to the ordinance, the effectiveness of the appointments is conditioned to the availability of vacancies and compatibility with the Annual Budget Law (LOA) and the Budgetary Guidelines Law (LDO).

The Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) will be responsible for issuing complementary acts, such as ordinances and specific communications, to organize the entry of the approved candidates.

Therefore, even with formal authorization, the sequence involves detailed schedules for appointment and possession, respecting the rules set by law.

Duties of the Technical Analyst of Social Policies Position

The career of Technical Analyst of Social Policies (ATPS), included in the national exam, has a broad scope of action.

According to the server portal, approved professionals will have responsibilities in essential areas such as:

Health, social security, and employment and income;

Public safety and urban development;

Food security, social assistance, and education;

Culture, citizenship, and human rights;

Protection of children, youth, people with disabilities, the elderly, and indigenous populations.

Furthermore, CNU civil servants will be responsible for technical assistance in projects and programs within the scope of the federal Executive Branch, ensuring that public policies reach the population efficiently.

The authorization covers notices number 1 to 7, all part of the first edition of the CPNU. Each notice details specific criteria, but all converge towards hiring qualified professionals in social policies.
