After Closing Agreement for Chartering Vessels for Petrobras, Solstad Offshore Now Maintains Partnership with Oil and Gas Multinationals Total and Equinor
The Norwegian offshore supply vessel company Solstad has secured several contract extensions with oil companies Total and Equinor for services in Brazil. Solstad Offshore operates a fleet of around 150 vessels and has offices in Norway, Australia, Singapore, the Philippines, Scotland, Cyprus, Ukraine, and Brazil.

Total has extended contracts for the platform supply vessel Normand Swift and the AHTS vessel Far Sagaris until December 2020. The vessels will be used to support Total’s activities in the Lapa field, offshore Brazil.
During the charter period, the Far Sagaris will be replaced by the Far Scout, as the Far Sagaris will begin a three-year contract with Petrobras.

The New Extensions of Solstad Offshore with Equinor and Total in Brazil Come Days After the Company Won Contracts from BP in Australia
BP has signed contracts for two anchor handling tug vessels Normand Saracen and Far Senator, along with the platform supply vessel Normand Leader with Solstad Offshore in Australia.
BP is a multinational company based in the UK operating in the energy sector, primarily oil and gas worldwide. In Brazil, it has been present since the 1970s and currently has 27 blocks in five different Brazilian offshore geological basins, being one of the international companies with the largest exploration portfolio in deep waters in the country.
Solstad Offshore Signed Contract with Petrobras for Two AHTS Vessels for Oil E&P Operations in Brazil
Petrobras has reached an agreement with global company Solstad for the chartering of two AHTS vessels, the Far Sagaris and Far Statesman. The announcement was made in June of this year by the Norwegian multinational that provides maritime and offshore services.
The contract will be for a period of 3 years to provide maritime support for Petrobras’ exploration and production activities in Brazilian offshore waters.
The contract is expected to commence in September of this year and the value of the agreement, excluding ROVs, exceeds an amount of MNOK 800 (Norwegian Krone).
