The Norwegian Owner of Offshore Vessels Solstad Offshore Signed Contract Extensions for Two Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) with Equinor in Brazil
Solstad said on Friday that the contract extensions were granted to the vessels Far Scotsman and Sea Brasil. In August of this year, it also closed a deal with Petrobras and ended up renewing for more support services in Brazilian waters.

The contract for Far Scotsman is extended for two years, while Sea Brasil is extended for one year, both in direct continuation of the current contracts. The vessels will continue to support production activities in the Peregrino field, in the Campos Basin, off the coast of Brazil.
The contract for the Far Scotsman vessel, built in 2012, was previously extended by three months in August 2019.

It has been an active week for the Norwegian owner of the offshore vessel. Notably, the company secured a contract extension for the Normand Tonjer vessel, of 56%, and awarded several contracts in the Middle East and the Mediterranean.
