Details of the PMMG Contest for Officers
PMMG has opened applications for one of the most anticipated contests of the year. There will be 180 positions available for the 2025 CFO, with starting salaries of R$ 7,175.30. Both men and women who meet the following requirements can apply:

- Graduation degree in Law
- Age between 18 and 30 years
- Minimum height of 1.60 m
- National Driver’s License (CNH) category “B”
This new announcement replaces the previous one, which was canceled due to a decision by the Supreme Federal Court (STF) that limited women’s participation to only 10% of the positions. Now, the opportunities are equal for both genders.
Stages of the Contest for PMMG Officers
The selection process for the PM is rigorous and consists of several stages. The objective and essay tests will take place on September 15 in 17 cities across Minas Gerais, including Belo Horizonte, Juiz de Fora, Uberaba, and others.
- Objective Test: 50 multiple-choice questions
- Essay Test: Writing
In addition to the written tests, candidates will undergo psychological and physical evaluations, health exams, oral tests, and title analysis. The anticipated date for the call of approved candidates is January 31, 2025.
Applications for the PMMG Contest
Applications will be open from July 17 to August 17. The participation fee is R$ 220. Interested individuals should register on the official PMMG website.

For the Soldier position, a higher education degree in any field is required. For Officer, a Bachelor’s degree in Law is required. The application fees are R$ 101.00 for Soldier and R$ 220.00 for Officer.
Structure of the Tests for Soldiers and Officers
For the Soldier career, the contest phases include:
- Objective Test
- Psychological Evaluations and Health Exams
- Military Physical Assessment (AFM)
For the Officer career, the process is slightly more extensive, with the following phases:
- Knowledge Test (objective and essay)
- Psychological Evaluations, AFM, and Health Exams
- Oral Test and Title Assessment
