ANAC, in partnership with SEST SENAT and the Ministry of Education, offers free courses aimed at students from public schools. Secure your spot and take the first step towards your aviation career!

The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), in partnership with SEST SENAT and the Ministry of Education, has opened registrations for free courses in aircraft maintenance, aimed exclusively at public school students. The free courses offered by ANAC aim to train young people for the aviation sector, ensuring social inclusion and expanding job opportunities in the technical area.

Registrations Open for Free Aircraft Maintenance Courses by ANAC

ANAC, together with the Social Transport Service (SEST) and the National Transport Learning Service (Senat), in addition to the Ministry of Education, is offering an unmissable opportunity for high school students from public schools across Brazil. Registrations for the free aircraft maintenance courses are open until next Saturday, October 5, and can be done online.

These free courses, promoted by ANAC, are part of the “Wings for All” program, an initiative aimed at training qualified professionals for the aviation sector, one of the fastest-growing segments in the country. Classes will start on November 11 and will be held in-person in Samambaia, Brasília, with a total of 1,440 hours, divided between theoretical classes and practical internships.

Technical Training for Public School Youth

The training is entirely focused on students from public schools, aiming to ensure the inclusion of young people who, often, would not have access to specialized technical courses like this. ANAC, along with partners SEST and Senat, seeks to empower this new generation of aircraft maintenance technicians through free courses, preparing them to meet the growing market demand.

The course includes an extensive curriculum of 1,440 hours, with 1,200 hours dedicated to theoretical classes and 240 hours for the practical internship, which will take place in companies specialized in aircraft maintenance. The program lasts approximately 24 months, or two years of intensive training, with in-person classes in Brasília.

Another highlight of this initiative is the diversity of vacancies. At least 50% of the opportunities are reserved for women, seeking to increase female participation in the aviation sector. Thus, there are quotas for students who attended high school in public schools, Black, Brown, Indigenous, Quilombola people, and people with disabilities, reinforcing the commitment to social inclusion.

Courses Offered

Check the list of free aircraft maintenance courses offered by ANAC:

  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Focus on Civil Aviation
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Focus on Engines and Hydraulic Systems
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician – Focus on Aviation Electronic Equipment

These courses are ideal for those who wish to enter the aviation sector, especially in the maintenance area, which requires skilled labor and constant updating.

How the Selection Process Works

The selection process is conducted through an analysis of the candidates’ profiles, based on socioeconomic criteria and academic history. Students who completed high school entirely in public schools are given priority. Thus, the diversity of candidates will be considered, with places reserved for people from historically disadvantaged social groups.

Selected students will receive a monthly scholarship of R$700, aimed at helping with travel and food expenses during the course. The assistance is an important initiative, as many public school students face financial difficulties that could prevent them from participating in the program.

Where to Register

Registrations for ANAC’s free courses can be made until October 5, exclusively online, through the form available on the official ANAC website. Interested parties must fill in all requested data and attach the documents required in the announcement. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to qualify in one of the most promising areas of aviation!
