The Startup Hexagon.Pro, a logistics technology startup, is attracting attention from many investors due to a recent major achievement and innovation. After all, the company achieved a milestone of 1 million tons of pulp exported per month in 2022. This corresponds to about 85% of the total pulp exported by one of Brazil’s largest terminals, the Port of Santos.

This startup, located near the Port of Santos, received an initial investment of R$2.5 million for its development in a pre-seed round. Company Created Unprecedented Management Software for Export Logistics Chain for Pulp and Other Materials

With the excellent work carried out by the professionals at Hexagon Pro, the company was able to develop software that makes life easier for those working in logistics. After all, the startup has a solution that unifies the management of the export process. Thus, the result is an increase in productivity and operational capacity.

The company is present at the two largest port terminals in Brazil and has significantly increased the volume of export for materials like pulp. Additionally, the Port of Santos is one of the strategic locations with the highest pulp shipments throughout Brazil. Therefore, the startup’s presence is essential in the area and has already accounted for 85% of the exported volume.

This is impressive considering that the company has only been established for 1 year and had sufficient financial backing for its development. However, the solution created has already managed to move around 6 million tons of pulp, through the operation of 4 ships simultaneously.

Startup Received Awards and Recognition for Innovation and Technology in Logistics Like Cubo Itaú, and Expected Revenue by the End of 2022 Impresses

Luiz Simões, CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Hexagon.Pro, states that already in the first semester of its foundation, the company was chosen by the largest innovation hub in Latin America, Cubo Itaú. Thus, the startup participated in the Intermodal 2022 event, the largest logistics fair that takes place in Brazil.

Therefore, the company is now seeking to expand its areas of operation through a road show throughout Brazil. Thus, the team hopes to present the solution to potential clients who work with pulp, loose cargo, and bulk materials.

Moreover, the entire team is very optimistic and expects to close the year with a revenue of R$3 million. This is a result of the significant volume worked, with more than 20 committed and dedicated team members continually promoting improvements to the solution.

CEO of Hexagon.Pro Points Out That It Is Considering Expanding Operations Outside the State of São Paulo

Due to the great success of the initiative proposed by Hexagon.Pro, the company is exploring new businesses throughout Brazil. Thus, the aforementioned road show is currently in progress. However, the ultimate goal is to secure large contracts with companies and ports in Espírito Santo (ES), Maranhão (MA), and Bahia (BA). In this way, revenue is expected to triple rapidly in the coming years.
