Tech-Insp With New Offshore Jobs Announced Today, May 30, to Support Its New Project with Petrobras

Tech-Insp announced new offshore jobs this Thursday, May 30 for Welder/Fabricator, Warehouseman, Assistant Chief Engineer, BOP Operator, Nautical Officer, Marine Mechanic, Deckhand, Captain, Chief Engineer, Rigger, Electronics Technician. Yesterday, the company released an extensive list of positions that are still open, click here to check it out. Today, the requirements for these new opportunities can be reviewed.

Electronics Technician

Requirements

  • Technical Course in Electronics
  • Safety Course in Electrical Installations and Services – NR10
  • Confined Space Course – NR33
  • Course on Conditions and Work Environment in the Shipbuilding and Repair Industry – NR34

  • Work Permit Applicant Course – PT
  • 2 years of experience in drilling rigs in the oil and gas industry proven in CTPS

Nautical Officer (10N and 20N)

Requirements

  • Certificate of Competence STCW Rules II/1; II3; and IV2
  • Certificate in Industrial Safety
  • Use of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Machines
  • Confined Space Course – NR33

  • Full Operator Certificate – full DPO
  • Graduation from the Merchant Navy Nautical Officer Training Course

Subchief Engineer

  • Knowledge of SAP, MM, LT, and PM Modules
  • 2 years of experience as a warehouseman

Welder/Fabricator

Requirements

  • Certification in welding with coated electrode in the 6G position, minimum 9mm
  • Confined Space Course – NR33
  • Working at Heights Course – NR35
  • Survival Course – CBSP
  • Ability to operate oxy-acetylene set, cutting machines, manual welding machines, and other fabrication equipment
  • Minimum experience of 6 months in the welder/fabricator role
