The Government of the State of São Paulo, through the Secretary of Economic Development (SDE), has opened 140 spots for free courses in professional qualification under the Qualifica SP – New Employment program. This is your chance if you’re looking to re-enter the job market.

The spots are distributed across seven classes of 20 students each, in the cities of Arujá (60 spots), Guarulhos (40 spots), and Suzano (40 spots), in the Alto Tietê region. The choice of courses was based on local market demands, ensuring that the learning is aligned with the available job opportunities in the area.

How to Enroll in Free Courses?

To enroll in the free courses of Qualifica SP, just access the program website and register by July 15. Candidates aged 16 and older, who are literate and residents of the state of São Paulo, can participate. If the number of applicants exceeds the available spots, priority will be given to unemployed individuals, those with low income, and people with disabilities.

Classes start on July 22 and will be in-person. The locations and schedules are as follows:

Arujá

Morning Location: Estação Cidadania – Rua Takeji Shimmyo, 125 – Jardim Cerejeiras
Afternoon and Evening Location: Escola Municipal de Empreendedorismo 4.0 – Av. João Manoel, 393 – Centro
Spots: 60 (three classes)
Schedules: Morning (8:00 AM to 12:10 PM), Afternoon (1:00 PM to 5:10 PM) and Evening (6:00 PM to 10:10 PM)

Guarulhos

Location: CTMO – Centro de Qualificação Profissional – Rua Antonio Iervolino, 225 – Vila Augusta
Spots: 40 (two classes)
Schedules: Morning (8:00 AM to 12:10 PM) and Afternoon (1:00 PM to 5:10 PM)

Suzano

Location: SASPE – Serviço de Ação Social e Projetos Especiais – Rua Gen. Francisco Glicério, 1334 – Centro
