Applications for the Free Specialization Courses at the Federal Institute Are Open Until November 11, With 500 Spots Available.

On last Thursday (10/10), the Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG) announced the opening of applications to fill 500 spots in three free postgraduate courses. The offered courses are: Literacy and Reading, Management in Professional and Technological Education, and Distance Education in Professional and Technological Education (EPT). Applications for these free courses can be submitted until November 11, and all specialization courses will be offered online, in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB) and the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).

The Literacy and Reading course focuses on the development of pedagogical practices aimed at literacy in the early years of Basic Education.

This specialization course is intended for graduates in Education or Language Studies who work as teachers in this area.

The Management in Professional and Technological Education course is designed for graduates from any field who wish to deepen their knowledge in educational management, especially in administrative roles in EPT.

This course aims to discuss the specificities and challenges of this mode of education, contributing to training in educational management.

The Distance Education in EPT course provides continuous training for graduates in various fields, addressing strategies and concepts related to Distance Education.

This specialization course is aimed at professionals who work or wish to work in EPT, providing relevant knowledge for the current educational context.

Available Spots in the Federal Institute Courses

The Federal Institute has made a total of 500 spots available for the course of Literacy and Reading, distributed among different locations: Goiânia, Formosa, Cavalcante, Santo Antônio do Descoberto, and Senador Canedo. Each location will have 100 spots.

For the courses of Management in Professional and Technological Education and Distance Education, 200 spots are offered for each course, also divided among the locations of Goiânia, Senador Canedo, Luziânia, and Jataí.

If there are not enough candidates in a location, the Selection Committee may invite students from other locations to fill the available spots.

How to Enroll in the Free Courses at the Federal Institute?

Those interested in enrolling in the specialization courses must visit the IFG website, in the ongoing selections section of Distance Education (EaD), at www.ifg.edu.br/estudenoifg.

It is important for candidates to fill out the application form and upload the required documentation. The application is the first step to secure a spot in the free courses at the Federal Institute.

The selection process at the Federal Institute will be conducted through curriculum analysis and experience verification, with criteria such as proof of undergraduate degree and teaching experience.

Each candidate may only submit one application and must provide their information accurately for the specialization courses.
