Movie With Brad Pitt Premieres on June 26 and Features Real Formula 1 Cars, Including Mercedes-AMG Models Used on Official Tracks
The movie “F1” premieres in theaters on June 26 and promises to attract the attention of motorsport fans. Starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, the film has direct support from Mercedes-AMG, which provided real vehicles and technical assistance from the official Formula 1 team.
The production is a collaboration between Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. Pictures. During filming, high-performance models from the German brand were used. Among the highlights are the SL, the G-Class, and the Mercedes-AMG GT, in addition to the famous official FIA cars — the Safety Car and the Medical Car.
At this year’s Miami Grand Prix, Mercedes-AMG presented the GT 63 4Matic+ APXGP to the public, created specifically for the film. The car is a super sports coupe with AMG Performance 4Matic+ all-wheel drive and variable torque distribution.
