The Toyota Yaris Cross 2026 will bring a list of standard equipment aligned with that of the model manufactured in Thailand.
Among the confirmed items are disc brakes on all four wheels, six airbags, electronic traction and stability controls, hill-start assist, ABS brakes with EBD, ISOFIX anchorage for child seats, in addition to three-point seat belts and headrests for all occupants.
The more complete versions will feature the Toyota Safety Sense package, which includes driving assistance technologies such as adaptive cruise control (ACC), front pre-collision system (PCS), lane-keeping assist (LTA), lane departure warning (LDA), and automatic high beams (AHB).
There is still no official confirmation about the inclusion of all these features in the entry-level versions.
External Design and Style
At the front, the Yaris Cross 2026 features a grille and headlights inspired by the Corolla Cross prior to the last redesign.
The bumper is divided into sections and features a large air intake at the bottom, with auxiliary headlights positioned in geometric-shaped side niches.
In profile, the model displays cleaner surfaces, with a single crease on the lower part of the doors and black cladding connecting the wheel wells.
The C-pillar features a small quarter window to improve visibility.

In terms of fuel economy, the hybrid versions of the Yaris Cross sold in Asia achieve averages of up to 26.3 km/l in local cycles, while the combustion versions register between 17 km/l and 18 km/l.
The Brazilian numbers have not yet been disclosed and may vary due to calibration for ethanol and Inmetro’s testing standards.
Interior and Technological Features
The interior features a floating touchscreen multimedia system, a fully digital instrument panel, and a central dashboard strip wrapped in material that simulates leather.
The center console brings together storage compartments and armrest, while the air conditioning is automatic digital.
Toyota has not yet revealed complete information regarding the connectivity and smartphone integration systems that will be available in the Brazilian version.
Final power and torque figures for the 1.5 flex updated engine in Brazil have also not been announced, nor the combined power of the hybrid version with flex technology.
There are also no details about the distribution of equipment by version and the presence of Toyota Safety Sense in the entry-level configurations.
The start of sales and the commercial terms for pre-launch remain unconfirmed.
The launch will occur just before one of the hottest periods in the automotive market, when manufacturers concentrate efforts to increase market share in sales.
