IFPE Opens Selection Process for EAD Tutors: Home Office Positions for Online Undergraduate and Specialization Courses.
The Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE) has just launched the Public Notice REI/IFPE No. 43/2025-GR, bringing a valuable opportunity for those who wish to work from home as EAD tutors. The work will primarily be remote, but tutors also need to be available for in-person meetings at distance education centers linked to IFPE, in cities in the state of Pernambuco.
Selection Process and Quota System
The selection process will be conducted through a curriculum analysis, considering academic background, teaching experience, and experience in distance education.
Scores can reach 100 points, and candidates with proven experience in distance teaching will have an advantage.
There is a minimum reservation of 25% of positions for quotas intended for black, brown, indigenous candidates, people with disabilities, transgender individuals, and transvestites.
Those opting for reserved positions will need to present specific documentation, including self-declaration and, when applicable, videos or supporting reports.
Eligibility Requirements for Registration
To apply, candidates must have a completed higher education degree, a postgraduate degree in the area specified in the vacancy chart, and a minimum of one year of experience in basic education.
It is also necessary to be active in public education or in teacher training programs linked to the Ministry of Education (MEC).
Other requirements include being up to date with electoral obligations, not accumulating grants from Capes or CNPq, and having a computer with internet access, as the routine requires constant interaction in the virtual learning environment.
Timeline of the Selection Process
The public notice provides a detailed calendar to guide candidates:
- Online Registration: from September 4 to 18, 2025.
- Request for Tax Exemption: from September 4 to 10, 2025.
- Preliminary Result of Curriculum Analysis: October 9, 2025.
- Appeals Period: from October 10 to 15, 2025.
- Final Result and Homologation: October 20, 2025.
The registration fee is R$ 20.00, but candidates registered in CadÚnico can request exemption within the deadline.
Open Registrations: How to Participate
Registrations must be made exclusively on the site selecoes.ead.ifpe.edu.br, between September 4 and 18, 2025. To validate the application, it is necessary to attach a diploma, supporting documents, and pay the fee, except in cases of exemption.
Those approved will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 1,100.00, paid by Capes, during the period of activity. The certificate issued by IFPE is nationally valid, ensuring professional recognition in any region of the country.
