Federal Institute (IFMG) Opens New Selection Process With Vacancies for Teachers, Offering Monthly Scholarships of R$ 1,430.00.

The Federal Institute of Southern Minas (IFMG) has just launched a selection process with 60 vacancies for teachers. The Foundation for the Support of the Development of Extension, Research, Vocational and Technological Education (FADEMA) offers this unique opportunity for teachers and specific degree students to contribute to the education of youth in situations of social vulnerability.

These vacancies are aimed at strengthening the education of 9th-grade students and are intended for teaching at various campuses of the Federal Institute.

Available Vacancies at the Federal Institute

The selection process is offering vacancies for teachers in three subjects: Portuguese Language, Mathematics, and Natural Sciences.

The vacancies are spread across different campuses of IFMG, located in cities such as Conselheiro Lafaiete, Piumhi, Ipatinga, Itabirito, Ponte Nova, among others.

Each vacancy lasts for 10 months and requires a workload of 10 hours per week, with classes in the afternoon.

These job vacancies at the Federal Institute are an excellent opportunity for teachers looking to work in public education and contribute to the education of youth.

The selected teachers will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 1,430.00, in addition to a unique chance to participate in a project aimed at promoting educational opportunity equality.

This action is aligned with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, especially regarding the National Policy for Equity and Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations, according to MEC Ordinance No. 470/2024.

Who Can Apply for the Vacancies in the IFMG Selection Process?

The selection process is open to a variety of candidates who meet the requirements set forth in the announcement.

Public servants, whether at the federal, state, district, or municipal level, with qualifications in the relevant fields can apply.

Also eligible to participate are permanent teachers from the state or municipal network with a degree in the fields of Language, Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Physics.

Additionally, the selection process of the Federal Institute is also open to graduate students of IFMG who have a degree in the mentioned areas.

Students of IFMG’s degree programs, from the sixth semester of the courses in Language, Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Physics, can also apply for the teaching vacancies offered by the Federal Institute.

Applicants must provide proof of teaching experience and meet the minimum academic qualifications required.

The selection process will be conducted in a single phase, with a documentary analysis of an eliminatory and classificatory character.

The selection of vacancies will take into account the academic qualifications and teaching experience of the candidates.
