Shopee’s Logistics Structure in Brazil
Shopee has a robust logistics infrastructure in the country, consisting of 12 distribution centers, with 11 operating on a cross-docking model, where goods collected by logistics partners are reorganized and directed to last-mile hubs for delivery to the final consumer.
Additionally, the company has a Fulfillment unit where products from selected sellers are stored, and the platform is responsible for preparing the packages and managing the shipping after the sale on the app.
To enhance users’ experience, Shopee has opened first-mile hubs responsible for collecting and sorting goods before sending them to distribution centers, and last-mile hubs that handle the final delivery of products to consumers. Currently, there are over 150 units in operation.
Moreover, the marketplace has over 2,500 Shopee Agencies spread across Brazil, optimizing its logistics chain.
These commercial establishments, in addition to their usual activities, serve as collection points for packages from Brazilian sellers.
To ensure efficient delivery flow, over 30,000 partner drivers collect goods from points of sale, transporting them to the hubs and distribution centers, up to the final delivery to the consumer.
Expansion of Opportunities at Shopee
In October 2024, Shopee announced the opening of 3,500 temporary positions to strengthen its logistics operation during year-end promotional campaigns, such as 11.11, Black Friday, and Christmas.
The opportunities were spread across 19 states, covering various regions and cities in the country.
Candidates were required to have completed elementary education, be available to work in different shifts, and have a committed and proactive profile.
