Leading Multinational Offshore Drilling Services Company Recruits Professionals for Offshore Positions in the City of Macaé

Transocean has just updated its job listings and announced new opportunities for experienced professionals available to work offshore in the city of Macaé. For these positions, experience with the Multiplex system and proficiency in English are required, along with other specific job requirements.

Transocean specializes in technically demanding sectors of the global offshore drilling industry, with a particular focus on deepwater drilling services. The company owns or holds partial interests in and operates a fleet of 43 mobile offshore drilling units, comprising 24 ultra-deepwater semisubmersibles, 12 harsh environment semisubmersibles, two deepwater semisubmersibles, and five midwater semisubmersibles.

In addition, Transocean is constructing two drillships for ultra-deepwater. The company also operates a high-specification jackup that was under a drilling contract when the rig was sold, and it will continue operating the jackup until the completion or novation of the drilling contract.

Transocean Secures More Work with Petrobras and Other Companies, Adding US$ 373 Million in New Contracts

The offshore drilling rig Transocean has secured more work for its drilling fleet, adding approximately US$ 373 million in pending contracts.

In the status report released on April 17, Transocean stated that the total order backlog is US$ 12.1 billion. During this period, Transocean secured new contracts and received extensions for previously awarded contracts for its drilling platforms.
