What Does an Offshore Painter Rigger Do?

The offshore painter rigger is responsible for painting and maintaining structures on offshore oil and gas platforms, using industrial climbing techniques. The main duties include preparing surfaces for painting, applying protective coatings to prevent corrosion, and regularly inspecting painted areas to identify wear or damage.
