The Intercultural Education course will last for 18 months and will have a total workload of 360 hours, distributed over eight subjects throughout three semesters. In addition, students must present a Final Course Paper (TCC) to obtain the certificate.

Although it is a E-learning postgraduate course, there will be in-person meetings on weekends at UEMA hubs. In some cases, these meetings may be transferred to the territories of traditional peoples and communities, facilitating the access for participants. This initiative aims to ensure that the specialization is accessible and adapted to the reality of students.

  • 10% of the spots are reserved for permanent employees of UEMA.
  • 5% of the spots are reserved for people with disabilities (PcD), provided they belong to the target audience of the course.

✔ Graduation diploma – 5 points

Professional Experience

✔ Teaching in traditional territories – up to 25 points
✔ Experience in Intercultural Degree Courses – up to 20 points
✔ Monitoring in Intercultural Degrees – up to 10 points

Participation In Scientific Events

✔ As a speaker – up to 9 points
✔ Presentation of papers – up to 6 points
✔ Participation as an attendee – up to 4 points

Candidates will be ranked according to the total points obtained, and the results will be announced according to the official schedule.
