UFPI Opens Positions for CEAD Tutors! Applications from March 12 to 18, 2025. Learn How to Participate in the Selection Process!
The Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), through the Center for Open and Distance Education (CEAD), has announced the public notice for tutor positions for the Specialization Course in Teacher Training, Teaching, and Initial Literacy – 1st and 2nd Years.
Interested candidates can apply between March 12 and 18, 2025!
Requirements to Participate in Tutor Vacancies
To compete for the position of tutor, the candidate must:

Have a degree in education or higher education;
Have a postgraduate degree in specialization, master’s, or doctorate in Education;
Have at least one year of experience in guiding trainers and/or literacy teachers;
Be a natural-born Brazilian, naturalized, or a foreigner with permanent visa;
Have availability of 20 hours per week for tutoring activities.
Stages of the Selection Process
The selection will consist of two phases:
- Document Review (eliminatory);
- Curriculum Analysis (classifying and eliminatory), considering the candidate’s qualifications, professional experience, and qualifications.
The final list of selected candidates will be published on the official CEAD/UFPI website (www.cead.ufpi.br).
Tutor Responsibilities
Selected candidates will have various responsibilities, including:
Supporting students in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA);
Participating in meetings and webinars;
Grading assignments and assessments;
Assisting in filling out the electronic diary in SIGAA;
Guiding and mediating academic activities.

The required documents include:
ID document with photo (valid RG or driver’s license) and CPF;
Declaration of authenticity of the documents submitted for application;
Proof of the mandatory prerequisites;
Declaration of availability;
Completed curriculum analysis table accompanied by supporting documents.
