Vacancies Distributed Across UFRB’s In-Person Centers
The 150 vacancies for the Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems EaD are distributed among the in-person support centers in Feira de Santana, with 70 vacancies, Ipirá, with 40 vacancies, and Santo Amaro, also with 40 vacancies.
Although the course is offered remotely, the training includes up to 30% of mandatory in-person activities, held at the centers where the students are enrolled.
These meetings are mainly for assessments, practices, and lab activities.
The activities may take place on any day of the week, including weekends.
According to institutional information from UFRB, the course is expected to last eight semesters, with a total workload of 3,180 hours.
The curriculum structure includes mandatory and elective components, complementary activities, and participation in extension projects.
Expanded Quota System and Competition Criteria
The selection process adopts an expanded quota system, in accordance with the Quota Law and UFRB’s internal regulations.
Some of the vacancies are reserved for students from public schools, including low-income candidates, black, brown, indigenous, quilombola individuals, and people with disabilities.
The vacancies for affirmative actions are exclusively competitive among candidates who prove to fit the respective categories.
Those who have studied, even partially, in private schools must compete through general admission, except in cases provided for individuals with disabilities.
In filling the vacancies, UFRB initially observes the general admission list, considering the classification order by center.
Subsequently, it applies the mandatory reservation rules to rank candidates who opted for the vacancies reserved for affirmative actions.
Enem as the Sole Selection Criterion
To compete for one of the vacancies, it is necessary to have completed high school and participated in one edition of Enem between 2015 and 2024, without having obtained a zero score in the objective tests or in the essay.
The editions considered valid include the last ten years of the exam.
Ranking is based on the simple average of the scores from the five tests, all with equal weight.
If the candidate has participated in more than one edition, the highest average obtained will be automatically considered. In the event of a tie, the tie-breaking criterion is the highest age.
The selection results are scheduled to be announced on December 17, 2025 on the UFRB selection process portal.
If any vacancies remain after the first call, new convocations may be published.
