Enroll in the Free Specialization Course in Health Management at UFRN! There Are Several Vacancies Available in the Distance Learning Modality.
Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) announced the opening of the selection process for the specialization course in Health Management, in the Distance Learning (EAD) modality.
The initiative, conducted by the Distance Education Secretariat (SEDIS) and the School of Health of UFRN, is part of the Open University of Brazil System (UAB), in partnership with CAPES and the Ministry of Education (MEC). Classes are expected to start in April 2025.
Vacancies and Distribution of the Course at In-Person Locations
The lato sensu postgraduate course in Health Management will offer 88 additional vacancies, distributed among four in-person support locations in Rio Grande do Norte:

Applications must be made exclusively online through the Integrated Academic Activity Management System (SIGAA) of UFRN.
Candidates should access the federal government portal (www.gov.br) and use their login to be redirected to SIGAA.
If they choose direct access, it will be necessary to log in through gov.br to start the application process and submit the required documents in PDF format.
Selection Process Stages
The selection of candidates will be conducted by a Commission coordinated by the course and will occur in four stages:
1-Validation of Applications: verification of submitted documents.
2-Scoring of Documents: curricular analysis and other criteria set forth in the notice.
3-Heteroidentification Procedure: stage intended for self-declared black, brown, and mixed-race candidates.
4-Announcement of Final Result: selected candidates will be announced in an official document available on the SIGAA page.
All stages will be published on the SIGAA portal, ensuring total transparency in the selection process.
About the Free Specialization Course in Health Management
With a workload of 420 hours, the course will last 18 months and will be offered in the EAD modality, using the Moodle Mandacaru platform.
In total, eight modules will be conducted over the period, and in the final months, students will be required to develop their Graduation Projects (TCC).
Despite the remote teaching, there will be mandatory in-person meetings at designated locations, requiring a minimum attendance of 75% per subject.
Enrollment Period and Start of Classes
Approved candidates must enroll between March 28 and 31, 2025, according to the schedule in the announcement. Classes are scheduled to begin in April 2025.
