UFSCar Offers Various Openings in Free Courses in Sorocaba

UFSCar is offering free course openings in Sorocaba. In total, there are over 30 openings in courses such as Spanish, Japanese, theatrical improvisation and theater, English, German, French, introduction to programming in Python, a mandala workshop, as well as a mini-course on the environment and quality of life.

The free courses at UFSCar range from advanced, post-intermediate, intermediate, pre-intermediate to basic levels and are intended for any student starting from 16 years old. People who apply for openings in intermediate and advanced level courses will undergo a selection exam.

History of Art;
Introduction to Landscaping;
Introduction to Harmony and Scales (Music);
Birds: A Brief Journey;
Adobe Premiere (Basic);
Neuroscience and Eating Behavior Leading to Childhood Obesity;
Resume Preparation.
English (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels);
Business English – English for Business/Companies;
Spanish (Basic and Advanced Levels);
Japanese (Pre-Intermediate Level);
Theater;
Drawing (Faces and Self-Portraits).

It is necessary to fill out the online form, as the selection will be based on this analysis. The symbolic registration fee is R$ 5 and will only be charged if the student is approved and intends to take the UFSCar course.

Registrations

Those interested in UFSCar’s free courses can register for up to two courses. Registrations are free and can be made until the 19th on this site. The selection of students for the openings will be based on the analysis of the form that the candidate must fill out at the time of registration.

In the case of language courses, knowledge compatible with the course level will be required. For this, tests will be conducted before the start of classes.
