Petrobras’ Contest Announces That Registrations for the Selection Process End Next Friday (03/17) at 6 PM (Brasília Official Time).

With 373 positions for technical level professionals, Petrobras’ contest offers registrations through the website of the Brazilian Center for Research for Evaluation and Promotion of Events (Cebraspe). The participation fee is R$ 62.79, payable until Wednesday, March 22. Adding these existing opportunities (373) and the reserved registrations without guaranteed call (746), there is a total of 1,119 possible opportunities.

Dates for the Application of the Petrobras Contest Exams

The scheduled date for the application test is Sunday (04/30) and will last for 4 hours. There will be 40 questions on basic knowledge (Portuguese and mathematics) and 60 questions on specific knowledge. The final result of the selection process should be announced by July 10. The process is valid for 12 months and may be extended only once, at Petrobras’ discretion.

Requirements for the Petrobras Contest

The training requirements exist for each area and can be consulted in the announcement of the selection process. No previous professional experience proof is required. The approved candidates may work in any region or unit according to Petrobras’ needs. The selection process reserved 8% of the opportunities for people with disabilities, a percentage higher than the minimum percentage (5%) required by law. It also reserves 20% of the job vacancies for black individuals as mandated by law.

Salary and Benefits

The minimum initial salary is R$ 5,563.90. Petrobras offers supplementary retirement (optional), health plans (medical, hospital, dental, psychological, and pharmaceutical benefits), educational benefits for dependents, etc.

The company offers the possibility to extend the term by an additional 60 days beyond the period stipulated by law (120 days), totaling up to 180 days. Petrobras also offers lactation support rooms in various units and allows for a reduction of up to two hours for infants in the first year of life.
