In partnership with Meta, Unime is offering various complementary free courses with a certificate of completion for students of the Academia Tech – Pool. In total, there are 19 free courses for the Information Technology (IT) sector, for higher education students.

Get to Know the Universities of Bahia

The embryo of the Maurício de Nassau University was created in 1993, when the Legal Bureau was established to prepare candidates for competitive public exams. However, it was only in 2003, with the publication in the Official Gazette of the Union of Ordinance 1109 from the Ministry of Education (MEC), that the Maurício de Nassau College was born.

The decision to create the university came from a dreamer who was committed to the development of a quality higher education project, honoring the image of the entrepreneur Maurício de Nassau.

On the other hand, the União Metropolitana de Educação e Cultura (Unime), being one of the most traditional universities in Bahia, was founded in 2000 and now has a reach in three of the main cities in the state and 20 years of tradition.
