Details of the University Selection Process
The selection will be conducted by the Mais Institute for Management and Social Development and aims to fill positions for Medium-Level Technician and Higher-Level Technician.
The contracts will follow the Special Administrative Law Regime (REDA), with an initial period of 36 months, which can be extended for an equal period.
The 70 positions are distributed across different working hours, as detailed in the call for applications:
Medium Level:
- 29 positions with a workload of 40 hours per week.
- 2 positions with a workload of 30 hours per week.
Higher Level:
- 30 positions with a workload of 40 hours per week.
- 2 positions with a workload of 35 hours per week.
- 7 positions with a workload of 30 hours per week.
How to Participate: Applications
Interested parties must register exclusively online by accessing the official website of the Mais Institute, between January 7 and 30, 2025.
The process begins at 10 a.m. on the 7th and ends at 5 p.m. on the 30th, following the Brasília time zone.
Registration Fee:
- R$ 70.00 for medium level.
- R$ 100.00 for higher level.
Additionally, candidates registered in the Single Registry for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico) may request a waiver of the fee between January 7 and 9, provided they present the required documentation as per the call for applications.
Stages of the Selection Process
The Selection Process will consist of two main stages:
Objective Test:
- Date: February 16, 2025.
- Medium Level: 50 questions.
- Higher Level: 64 questions.
Title Test:
- Exclusive for higher-level candidates, considering academic qualifications, training courses, and professional experience.

Salary and Benefits
The approved candidates will receive salaries ranging from R$ 1,895.33 to R$ 3,279.43, in addition to a meal aid that varies according to the working hours:
- R$ 440.00 for workloads of 35 and 40 hours per week.
- R$ 286.00 for workloads of 30 hours per week.
Contracted employees will also have access to benefits such as transportation vouchers and specific function allowances.
Work Locations and Information About the University
The positions are distributed across the campuses of the State University of Southwest Bahia (UESB) in the cities of Itapetinga, Jequié, and Vitória da Conquista.
The hired staff may be assigned to different shifts (morning, afternoon, or evening), according to the needs of the institution.
