Applications for the selective processes at the University of São Paulo (USP) started on Monday (4), aiming to fill vacancies in free master’s and doctorate courses in Education. In total, 107 openings will be offered for doctorate and 97 for free courses in Education, distributed between the second semester of 2024 and the first semester of 2025.

Of the total 97 spots in free courses offered by USP, 49 will be for the second semester of 2024 and 48 for the first semester of 2025. The opportunities will be distributed across the following areas of concentration:

- Training, Curriculum, and Pedagogical Practices;
- Education and Social Sciences: Inequalities and Differences;
- Scientific, Mathematical, and Technological Education;
- State, Society, and Education;
- Culture, Philosophy, and History of Education.
The free courses are conducted in person, and the selection process will consist of remote stages, developed on a platform provided by the Graduate Program of FEUSP, from the application process to the final result announcement, with the candidate responsible for keeping access to their restricted area confidential.

Applications for the selection process of the free courses at the University of São Paulo will occur according to the schedule, and no application fee or any other fee will be charged during the selection.
At the time of application, the candidate must indicate which semester they plan to apply for admission to the free USP courses. The first stage consists of a specific knowledge test, the second consists of an analysis of the research project and curriculum, the third stage consists of an Argumentation, and the fourth consists of checking the documentation for enrollment.

The initial stage for candidates is characterized by the Analysis of Research Project and Curriculum, the next stage consists of the Argumentation, conducted remotely, and finally, the third stage consists of the document verification.
