The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) announced the opening of an unmissable selection process for those looking to start or continue their academic journey. With a total of 1,555 slots in free courses for undergraduate programs, both in-person and online, the institution is offering opportunities for various candidate profiles.

The selection process at the Federal University for the second semester of 2024 aims to fill these slots inclusively and strategically.

According to Cristiano Costa Argemon Vieira, the Vice-Rector of Undergraduate Studies, the initial priority will be for candidates interested in transferring from other institutions.

Subsequently, the slots will be allocated to foreign candidates with refugee, humanitarian, or family reunion visas.

Additionally, candidates with undergraduate degrees also have a chance to enroll in a new course at the Federal University.

Between 2022 and the first semester of 2024, about 4,658 people have already registered in previous selection processes at the Federal University, highlighting the ongoing interest in the quality education offered by the institution.

Anderson Viçoso de Araújo, the Director of Planning and Academic Management, emphasizes that this is a propitious moment for those looking to change careers or specialize further.

He highlights that UFMS offers excellent undergraduate courses, with nationally recognized infrastructure and faculty.

Applications for the open slots in free courses are open until July 8, and interested candidates can register through the official website of the Federal University.

Students from Other Institutions Can Also Apply for the Open Slots

For students already enrolled at other institutions, this is a unique opportunity to continue their studies at one of UFMS’s campuses.

The preliminary results of the selection process will be announced on June 12 on the official UFMS Admission page.

Candidates will have until July 15 to submit administrative appeals, while the results and the first call for enrollment are expected on July 17.

Those wishing to take advantage of previously completed courses can make the request after enrollment, through the Prograd page.
