The Brazil Navy Selection Process Offers a Total of 1,680 Vacancies for the Southeast, South, North, and Northeast Regions.
The Brazil Navy, through the Naval Corps Personnel Command (CPesFN), is promoting an important amendment to the Public Competition for admission to the Marine Corps Soldiers Training Course for classes I and II of 2024. This selection process offers a total of 1,680 vacancies and presents significant modifications that may directly impact the candidates.

Changes in Vacancies:
The main modification brought by this amendment concerns the number of vacancies available for classes I and II. In amendment document I, the numbers were adjusted to better meet the needs of the Navy. For class I, the vacancies were distributed as follows:

- Marine Group of Salvador: 30 vacancies.
These changes are essential to ensure that the selection process meets the demands of the Brazil Navy and provides opportunities for a larger number of candidates.
Requirements and Important Dates:
To participate in this Public Competition, it is necessary to meet a series of requirements. Candidates must be between 18 and 22 years old by June 30, 2024, be Brazilian, volunteers, be up to date with electoral obligations, and for male candidates, have a minimum height of 1.54 m and a maximum of 2.00 m. Additionally, it is required to have completed or be in the process of completing high school, and in the case of military personnel, have a rank lower than corporal.
An important point to highlight is that the Brazil Navy reserves a percentage of vacancies for candidates who meet these specific criteria, as detailed in the notice. This represents an additional opportunity for various candidates.
Benefits and Selection Process:
Those approved in the competition will be entitled to a subsidy, with amounts ranging from R$ 1,303.90 to R$ 2,294.50, in addition to compensation. This remuneration is one of the advantages of joining the Navy as a Marine.
The selection of candidates will be carried out through several stages, aiming to assess different aspects and skills. The stages of the selection process include:
- Education Exam.
- Verification of Biological Data.
- Health Inspection.
- Physical Aptitude Test.

- Hetero-identification Procedure.
The education exam will consist of an objective test covering content in Portuguese language, mathematics, and specific knowledge. The test will consist of a total of 50 multiple-choice questions and will take place at 10 am on a date to be determined. Registration
The registrations for the competition were to be made starting January 16, 2023, with a deadline of 11:59 pm on March 2, 2023. It is important to note that the registration process occurs exclusively through the Navy’s website, and the registration fee is R$ 40.00. Additionally, there were available in-person registration locations between February 27, 2023, and March 1, 2023, in the locations of Marataízes – ES and Rio Novo – MG. Those who meet the criteria for exemption were able to request the exemption of the registration fee between January 16 and January 31, 2023, provided they declared being registered in the Single Registry, with a monthly per capita family income equal to or less than half the minimum wage, or that they were bone marrow donors.
