The Coruripe Plant, with units in the states of Alagoas and Minas Gerais, is offering various job openings for high school, technical and higher education on this day 16, in the municipalities of Campo Florido, Iturama, Limeira do Oeste and Carneirinho, in Minas Gerais. The plant is a leader in the production of ethanol, sugar, and electricity in Brazil.

About the Company

The plant has five units, one in Alagoas, in the municipality of Coruripe, and four in Minas Gerais, in the cities of Iturama, Campo Florido, Limeira do Oeste, and Carneirinho. The milling capacity of the plant is 14.5 tons of sugarcane and, in production, it manufactures 20 million bags of sugar, 470 million liters of ethanol, and 690 megawatts/hour of electricity. The plant generates about 7,000 direct jobs and 35,000 indirect jobs in the states of Alagoas and Minas Gerais.

Job Opening for Machine Operator II – Carneirinho, Minas Gerais         

• Prerequisites: High School; CNH category D.
• Main Responsibilities: Operate a tractor without auxiliary traction with light implement or trailer, cane loader, compactor roller, tractor, performing area cleaning, collecting and transporting various materials, distributing materials in the field, activating tractor controls, observing the instrument panel and the overall functioning of the unit, performing load transloading in the harvest front yard, and conducting inspection and cleaning of the equipment.

Job Opening for University Internship – Accounting – Iturama, Minas Gerais

• Prerequisites: Must be 18 years or older; Availability to work 30 hours a week; Must be enrolled in Accounting.
• Main Responsibilities: Perform sector activities according to the curriculum and under the supervision of the sector manager and HR; Participate in training about the sector and the business; Carry out a challenge project as defined by the area manager; Conduct routines related to the accounting control of fixed assets, including registration, classification, identification, and movement of the company’s assets.

• Prerequisites: Technical Course.
• Main Responsibilities: Develop electrical projects, program and develop automation programs and maintain the automation system, and assist management in pertinent decision-making related to the instrumentation and automation sector.
