Vacancies opened by IME for high school and higher education candidates who wish to pursue a military career. See below how to secure yours!
Registration for the Army contest with 92 vacancies for admission to training and graduation courses for officers of the IME's engineering staff. In addition, the Military Institute of Engineering is offering 22 vacancies for the Basic Military Training Course for the Military Engineers. The remuneration, one of the main attractions, is R$ 8.245,00.

92 vacancies in the Army contest for admission to IME high school courses
There are 80 positions up for grabs for active duty military personnel (aimed at those who intend to pursue a career in the Armed Forces) and 12 reserve positions (aimed at those who do not intend to remain in the corporation).
Vacancies can be disputed by candidates of both genders with high school and at least 16 years old (on December 31, 2022, year of enrollment). The age limit is 21 years old for the reserve and 22 years old for the active one.

Entries will be received until August 17, upon completion of the registration form available at this link . The participation fee is R$ 100.
The Edict of the IME 2021 Contest offers 22 higher-level vacancies for the following areas:
- Communications Engineering;
- Computer engineering;
- Electrical engineering;
- Electronic Engineering;
- Production engineering;
- Fortification and Construction Engineering (Civil Engineering), Mechanical Engineering (distributed in Mechanical and Weapons Engineering and Mechanical and Automotive Engineering);
- Metallurgical engineering.

Basic requirements to apply for vacancies
- Have successfully completed, until the act of registration, the full degree in Engineering by an officially recognized Higher Education Institution;
- Minimum height of 1,60 m for male candidates or, if female, a minimum height of 1,55 m;
- Be at most 26 years of age, completed in the period from January 1st to December 31st of the enrollment year.
- Upon joining the CFrm, the candidate acquires the status of a military member and student of the QEM Basic Military Training Course (CBFM/QEM) and, if approved in this course, is enrolled in the QEM Specific Training Course (CFE/QEM).
As Applications must be made through the IME website between July 15th and August 31st, 2021. The registration fee is R$ 100,00.
