Selection process open for IMMEDIATE job openings in various positions for elementary and high school graduates by the JL – Planaterra – Iguatemi consortium. The opportunities are to work on the Perimetral Leste project, funded by Itaipu. Salaries range from R$ 2,100 to R$ 3,500. See below how to secure yours.

Job Openings for the Region

R$ 140 million has been invested from the Brazilian margin of Itaipu Binational. The job openings help boost the labor market in times of economic slowdown. Hired workers will participate in the construction of the 15 km road that will connect the Brazil-Paraguay Integration Bridge (between Foz do Iguaçu and Presidente Franco) to the BR-277 highway. The bridge is also funded by the Brazilian margin of the binational.

In total, Itaipu has allocated R$ 2.5 billion for projects like the Perimetral Leste, the Integration Bridge, the construction of the Municipal Market of Foz, among others, as well as new contracts for the modernization of the Brazilian electric sector. Together, these initiatives amount to more than 2,500 job openings.

“The projects in which Itaipu invests not only bring improvements in infrastructure, they provide development for the region and improve the quality of life of our people, giving a boost to the labor market, which has suffered greatly due to the pandemic,” commented the Brazilian General Director of Itaipu, General Joaquim Silva e Luna.
