Resumption of Samarco
The resumption of operations at Samarco, expected for the end of this year, will be in a safer, more innovative, and efficient manner in various areas. The company will restart activities with new technologies – confined excavation and a filtration system for dry stacking of sandy tailings.
In asset management, to obtain greater control and efficiency, Samarco is implementing the Lubrication Master Plan (PML). The aim is to unify best practices within internal areas and also those of the market, integrating methods and maintenance and lubrication processes across all operational units, from the mine to the port.
