More Offshore Job Openings Before the Week Ends, Companies Have Lowered Application Requirements Slightly.

Today’s highlight goes to Petrus, Marfood, and Elfe, which urgently need to replenish their workforce but are having some difficulty finding employees who meet Petrobras and other operators’ requirements. If you want to increase your chances of getting hired or reemployed in this field, access the Rope Access course here, as companies are heavily requiring this certification.
Marfood
Marfood has openings for Repairers, Officer, and Macgyver, all offshore. Applicants must have previously worked in hospitality companies in an offshore regime, and the company will verify this with the work permit and consult. The activities primarily consist of maintaining electrical systems, housing, mechanics, and kitchen work. Only residents of Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, and Rio de Janeiro will be allowed. Petrus Oil and Gas is Hiring:
- Boilermaker with 3 years of experience in installations and repairs of vessels or offshore units. Irata Level 1 is required for the position.
- Electrician with CREA to work onshore in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. Basic English and 2 years of experience will be a plus.
- Irata N3 Supervisor is needed to work onshore and offshore. Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Elfe
Instrument Technician, Electronics, and Automation – The candidate must have experience in pneumatic valve systems and PLCs and will be required to present a recommendation letter from another company proving knowledge in this function. These requirements apply to those with technical training as Instrument Technician, Electronics, and Automation. For Lathe Mechanic, a declaration confirming the ability to work in this function will also be required.
For all positions mentioned above, having CREA, boarding courses, and at least 2 years of experience documented in the work permit is necessary.
Maintenance Helpers – Candidates with technical training in instrumentation, electrotechnics, or mechanics can apply for positions at Elfe, with only 6 months of experience in the function required. The work regime is onshore.
