New Honda Ridgeline Pickup Delivers 280 Hp of Power
For this year, the Honda Ridgeline gains an extra touch of off-road capability with the addition of the new trim level TrailSport. This model comes equipped with General Grabber A/T Sport all-terrain tires, additional protection under the body, and an exclusive Diffused Sky Blue paint.
However, updates for all trims include a larger center console and the Honda Performance Development (HPD) package, which offers a distinct grille, black fender flares, exclusive wheels, and HPD graphics. However, the nearly 725 kg payload capacity of the new Honda Ridgeline pickup aligns with that of the Colorado and is only slightly below that of the Ranger.
It is important to mention that the Ridgeline is Honda’s only pickup. It pioneered the mid-size segment, which uses a unibody structure, like the Fiat Toro, Ram Rampage, and Renault Oroch. In the United States, it faces competitors such as the Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz.
What Is the Interior of the New Honda Ridgeline Pickup Like?
The interior of the model stands out for its comfort and practicality. Although it uses hard plastics below the dashboard, the overall materials are of high quality. Rear seat passengers enjoy the most space among all mid-size rivals, and the foldable armrests in the front seats enhance comfort.
The rear seat, split 60/40, can be folded up, creating enough space to transport a standard-size bicycle. However, transporting large items can be a challenge since the rear doors do not open completely.
