An experience that unites tourism, beer culture, and railroad history is scheduled for August 16, 2025, in the interior of São Paulo.
This is the Beer Train, an initiative that promotes a journey aboard the Train of the Republic, on the Ytuana Railway, between the cities of Itu and Salto.
The event, held in partnership with the Curitiba brewery Bodebrown, Serra Verde Express Group, and Indaiatuba Brewery, offers unlimited tasting of five award-winning Bodebrown labels, a typical Paulista lunch, and live music with a tribute to Iron Maiden.

Tasting of Award-Winning Beers and Pairing on the Beer Train
During the trip, passengers will have access to free tasting of five craft beers, all recognized in national and international awards.
The labels from Bodebrown, awarded at events in Brazil, Belgium, Australia, Canada, and England, are served in harmony with cheeses, breads, and sweets.
This selection aims to highlight the culture of craft beer and provide the audience with a unique sensory experience aboard the historic carriages.
The experience on the Beer Train goes beyond tasting.
According to the organizers, the purpose of the trip is to “unite the railroad tradition of São Paulo with the innovation of craft brewing”, integrating the history of the Ytuana Railway, inaugurated in 1873, with the culture of independent beer production.
The event also includes a guided discussion about the styles and characteristics of the beers offered, led by experts from Bodebrown, a reference in the segment since 2009.

Rail Route Highlights History and Tradition from Itu to Salto
The route of the Train of the Republic was chosen precisely for its historical importance.
According to the organization, the location refers to the formation of the Paulista Republican Party, created in the region and central to the proclamation of the Brazilian Republic in 1889.
Throughout the trip, passengers enjoy typical landscapes of the interior of São Paulo, including the crossing over the Tietê River, one of the most recognized natural landmarks in the State.
After the first part of the trip, there is a stop in the city of Salto, where participants are welcomed at the Stazione restaurant, located at the local train station.
The lunch served includes the traditional chicken parmesan, accompanied by rice and French fries, a typical dish of Paulista cuisine.
Tribute to Iron Maiden Highlights the Event Program
The gastronomic experience is complemented by a performance from the band Infinite Dreams, which performs a tribute to Iron Maiden.
The choice of repertoire references the relationship between Bodebrown and the British band, partners in creating special labels such as Trooper Brasil IPA, Aces High, Mandrake Jambu Ale, and Future Past.
These beers, which have appeared in previous editions of the Beer Train, highlight the connection between music, pop culture, and the beer universe.
After lunch, the group returns to the train for the journey back to Itu, with the event expected to conclude at 3 PM.
Throughout the journey, the program includes musical accompaniment, exclusive giveaways, and cultural activities, broadening interest among various audience profiles, from craft beer enthusiasts to railway tourism enthusiasts.

Beer Train Kit: Exclusive Items and Complete Structure
Each participant receives a Beer Train kit, consisting of personalized mug, themed passport, tasting of the five beer labels, and the items for pairing.
The ticket, starting at R$ 499 for the first batch, guarantees access to the entire program, including lunch at the Stazione restaurant.
According to the organizers, the experience aims to provide comfort and safety, with infrastructure adapted to accommodate groups of different age ranges.
According to Samuel Cavalcanti, founder of Bodebrown, the proposal of the event is to democratize access to beer culture: “We want people to know the variety of styles and flavors, as well as to value the history of the train, which is a symbol of Brazil’s development.”
The journey has attracted tourists from various cities in the interior of São Paulo, as well as visitors from the capital and other states, interested in differentiated experiences of wine tourism and beer tourism.
The realization also includes support from specialized guides and trained monitors to ensure that all stages of the itinerary are enjoyed with tranquility and safety.
