Uranium mining, nuclear generation, wind generation, solar generation, and energy distribution have caught the attention of many Chinese entrepreneurs.
Regarding uranium mining, the minister, who is a staunch advocate of Brazil’s nuclear program, hopes to amend the constitution so that foreign companies can enter and invest in the sector.
According to Bento Albuquerque, uranium reserves also have other minerals to be explored in a viable manner, and companies already established in the mines will have a significant advantage.

Agreements Signed
President Jair Bolsonaro signed, yesterday (Friday, 10/25), eight agreements with Chinese President Xi Jinping that went beyond the renewable energy sector. The cottonseed and processed beef sectors were also benefited.
The Brazilian government announcement of visa exemption for Chinese citizens wishing to enter Brazil was also well received and will contribute to the tourism sector.
The final stage of the visit to China included a meeting organized by the São Paulo Federation of Industries, with twenty major Chinese entrepreneurs participating to explore business opportunities in Brazil.
The auction of onerous transfer was also a topic among the presidents. According to Bolsonaro, China may participate in the next auction. “The information I received is that China is interested in participating. And that is good for all of us,” he declared.
