In Brazil, WEG is already the official supplier of charging stations for electric vehicles from the Stellantis group brands: Fiat, Peugeot, and Citroën. In Argentina, the company has a partnership with DS Automobiles.
The Brazilian multinational WEG announced another major partnership in the electric mobility segment on April 5th. The company, which has become a reference in reliable infrastructure solutions for charging electric vehicles in Brazil, being the official supplier of charging stations for Stellantis group brands: Fiat, Peugeot, and Citroën, is now finalizing an agreement for the launch of the Jeep Compass 4xe, the first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle from the brand in the country!
The agreement between the global giants provides for the installation of WEG’s WEMOB PARKING and WEMOB WALL models at JEEP dealerships in Brazil and the inclusion of the models in the brand’s product catalog, as well as technical visit services and installation of charging stations for JEEP 4xe customers throughout Brazil. Developed to provide an excellent user experience, allowing installations in indoor or outdoor environments, in garages or parking lots, the WEMOB (WEG Electric Mobility) line has a modern and compact design.
With the 7.4kW WALL model, the Jeep Compass 4xe fully charges in 1 hour and 40 minutes, one of the fastest charging times among plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, providing a range of 44 km in purely electric mode. “Together with Jeep, we are expanding our participation in the electric mobility market and promoting the installation of charging stations throughout the country to give peace of mind to electric vehicle users in Brazil,” emphasizes Manfred Peter Johann, General Director of WEG Automation.
