Luxury property, family impasse, and behind-the-scenes revealed in series place millionaire mansion at the center of a complex story involving inheritance, cohabitation, and asset control, with divergent versions presented by close people.

The mansion built by Anita Harley in Aclimação, a neighborhood in central São Paulo, has returned to the news as one of the most valuable assets associated with the heir of Pernambucanas in the documentary “The Will: The Secret of Anita Harley”, released by Globoplay.

The production reconstructs the impasse surrounding the businesswoman, in a coma since November 2016, and exposes how the property has come to play a central role in decisions related to the assets and the routine around Anita.

Mansion in Aclimação brings together 96 rooms and millionaire structure

Valued at around R$ 50 million, the residence includes figures that help to dimension its size.

There are 96 rooms, 37 bathrooms, and five kitchens, in addition to an outdoor area marked by gardens, a pool, and two terraces, according to descriptions circulated from the documentary and reports about the case.

The property is located on a discreet street in Aclimação, away from the busiest part of the neighborhood, and appears in aerial images of the series surrounded by a lot of greenery.

The size of the house helps to explain why it has become one of the most visible symbols of Anita Harley’s assets.

In the narrative of the series, the mansion does not appear merely as a high-end address but as a space associated with the private routine of the businesswoman and the people who lived with her for years.

The residence, therefore, ceased to be just a high-value asset and began to concentrate opposing versions about affection, cohabitation, and control of the property.

Move from hotel to residence inspired by château

Before moving to Aclimação, Anita Harley lived for decades in the traditional Hotel Ca’d’Oro, on Rua Augusta, in São Paulo.

Reports and testimonies gathered in the series indicate that she occupied a large structure within the hotel and maintained this lifestyle until the reformulation of the establishment, initiated after the closure of the old building in 2009.

The move to the mansion occurred in this context, when the businesswoman left the hotel and began residing in the house that now appears among the central points of the story.

In the documentary, Sônia Soares, known as Suzuki, says that the search for a new place began after unsuccessful attempts to find hotels with similar characteristics.

“I looked for several hotels. There was nothing like it,” she states. She then recounts that the solution was to design a residence for the two of them.

“So [we said]: ‘Shall we build a place for us? Let’s.’ And then, I chose a château,” she says, explaining the inspiration for the property.

These statements help to support the version that the mansion was born from a common cohabitation project.

Context involves asset management and cohabitation

The relevance of the mansion increased because the house began to be treated as an important piece of a context involving asset management since Anita Harley suffered a stroke and lost the ability to manage her own life and assets.

The documentary presented by Globoplay shows that, from this episode, distinct versions began to emerge in different contexts, involving who could accompany her, who had recognized emotional ties, and who could participate in decisions related to the assets.

In this scenario, the Aclimação house gained special weight because Suzuki lives in the property and claims that the property was donated by Anita.

According to reports presented in the production, the transfer would have been formalized in 2009.

The version, however, is questioned by other characters heard in the series and in reports about the case, which keeps the property at the center of the debate.

It is not just about discussing the value of the mansion, but analyzing how the transfer was made and what impacts it generates within the set of assets attributed to the heir of Pernambucanas.

The broader context also involves the management and recognition of emotional ties.

The promotional material for the series and reports about its premiere indicate that the scenario intensified after changes involving the so-called living will, in a movement initiated by Suzuki.

The case also came to include Artur Miceli, Suzuki’s biological son, who began to be pointed out as a central figure in conducting decisions related to the businesswoman, according to the narrative presented by the production.

Billionaire asset and conflicting versions

In addressing the mansion, the documentary seeks to show that the property functions as a synthesis of a larger conflict.

On one side, the house is presented as the space where Anita would have organized a reserved life after leaving the hotel where she lived for decades.

On the other hand, the same address appears as a central point of versions presented by characters who claim proximity and legitimacy regarding the assets.

The residence thus transforms into a kind of physical stage of a story marked by personal relationships, power, and inheritance.

The repercussion of the documentary increased the visibility of this property precisely because Anita Harley’s story remained for years away from the general public.

The businesswoman is pointed out in Globoplay’s productions as the largest individual shareholder of Casas Pernambucanas, and her health condition, combined with the impasse involving decisions about assets and routine, began to spark national interest.

In this context, the Aclimação mansion ceased to be just a high-end residence to become one of the most emblematic assets of a story that spans almost a decade.

By bringing together a large garden, pool, terraces, and dozens of environments, the property helps to dimension the size of the assets at stake, but the controversy surrounding the house goes beyond architecture and the estimated price.

What is discussed, in the end, is the history of the decisions attributed to Anita before the stroke, the weight of the records produced over the years, and the impact of personal relationships in a story that continues to resonate publicly.
