The Xiaomi has just launched a washing machine that challenges expectations for an appliance of this type both in size and price. According to the portal Canal Tech, the Mijia Washing Machine Drum 10Kg Ultra-thin Full Embed is a washing machine with a capacity of 10 kilograms, an ultra-thin body of only 516 millimeters in depth, and a launch price of 1,199 yuan, equivalent to about R$ 902. Xiaomi designed the washing machine to fit completely inside cabinets with a standard of 600 mm, leaving a gap of only 15 millimeters between the machine and the surrounding surfaces.
But Xiaomi didn’t just make a thin and cheap washing machine the device comes with 24 washing programs for different fabrics, a 1,500 W DD Direct Drive motor, 1,200 RPM spin speed, and integration into the smart home ecosystem of Xiaomi via HyperConnect. This means voice control through the Xiao AI assistant, operation via the Mijia app, and home automation such as automatically activating a smart drying rack when the washing cycle ends. However, the price is a direct conversion, and there is no official forecast for the sale of Xiaomi’s washing machine in Brazil.

The drum has a diameter of 525 mm, a generous space for the movement of clothes during washing.
The cleaning system of Xiaomi’s washing machine drum is triple: a cycle with warm water at 60°C, hot water at 95°C, and steam sterilization.
The door seal features antibacterial nano material that ensures 99.9% protection against microorganisms. For those who need to wash clothes at night, the six-dimensional shock absorption system and seven-layer noise reduction promise silent operation.
The DD Direct Drive motor delivers 1,500 W of power and reaches 1,200 RPM in the final spin.
