Yamaha TMAX 560 Tech Max 2026: Scooter with 562 cc Parallel-Twin Engine, 47 HP, CVT Transmission, and Speeds of Up to 190 km/h. See Technical Specifications, Technology, and Performance.

The Yamaha TMAX has always been a reference among high-performance scooters. Since its debut in the early 2000s, the model has combined the comfort and practicality of a scooter with the performance of a mid-sized motorcycle. Now, with its latest version — the TMAX 560 Tech Max 2026 — Yamaha elevates this concept to a new level, featuring a refreshed design, advanced electronics, and a motor that delivers impressive performance.

With 47 HP and a design engineered for stability at high speeds, the new TMAX reinforces its position as one of the most powerful and fastest scooters in the world, maintaining the sporty DNA that has won fans across all continents.

562 cc Parallel-Twin Engine and Surprising Performance

At the heart of the TMAX 2026 is the 562 cc parallel-twin engine, liquid-cooled, with dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) and electronic fuel injection. It generates 47 HP (35 kW) at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 5.7 kgfm at 5,250 rpm, delivering vigorous accelerations and responses reminiscent of mid-size sport motorcycles.

Although Yamaha does not officially disclose the top speed, independent tests indicate that the model can exceed 180 km/h, and under ideal conditions, some informal reports suggest speeds of up to 190 km/h.

The automatic CVT transmission ensures smoothness and comfort across all RPM ranges, while the centrifugal clutch system provides quick responses in urban traffic.

Revamped Design and Cutting-Edge Aerodynamics

The Yamaha TMAX 560 Tech Max 2026 boasts an even more aggressive and futuristic look. The front end features new dual LED headlights with a “sharp gaze” design, while the fairing has been redesigned to improve airflow and reduce aerodynamic drag.

The adjustable electric windshield, redesigned seat, and cast aluminum chassis are elements that enhance comfort and stability. The result is a scooter that combines elegance, sportiness, and sophistication — a rare combination in an urban vehicle.

Embedded Technology and Premium Comfort

The Tech Max version is the most complete in the lineup and comes equipped with a 7-inch color TFT display, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.

This system allows you to see navigation, calls, and messages, transforming the TMAX into a true “smart scooter.” Additionally, it has traction control, riding modes (Sport and Urban), proximity key, and cruise control, features usually found only in high-displacement touring motorcycles.

The seat is heated, as are the brake levers, and the rider benefits from adjustable rear suspension, ensuring comfort even on long trips.

Dynamic Behavior and Urban Performance

Despite its substantial size, the TMAX surprises with its agility in curves and balance at low speeds. The aluminum chassis and low center of gravity facilitate riding in traffic, making the scooter practical even for daily use.

On highways, the setup shows its true vocation: fast and comfortable journeys, with linear accelerations and excellent stability at cruising speeds above 120 km/h. The dual front brake with radial calipers ensures safety, and the ABS operates smoothly and accurately.

The focus of the Tech Max version is comfort. The spacious seat, electric windshield, and adjustable suspension system make riding extremely comfortable. The ergonomics are designed for long journeys, with a relaxed riding position and good leg support.

Another highlight is the keyless ignition system (Smart Key) and the under-seat compartment, which can accommodate a full-face helmet or small items — a rarity in scooters of this size.

Price and Availability

In Europe, the Yamaha TMAX 560 Tech Max 2026 is sold for around € 15,000 to € 16,000, equivalent to R$ 85,000 to R$ 90,000 in direct conversion.

There is currently no official confirmation regarding the launch of the new generation in Brazil, but previous versions are imported and have good acceptance in the premium market.

With the trend of growth in high-performance scooters in the country, it is possible that Yamaha will consider the official arrival of the updated model by 2026, depending on demand.

The Yamaha TMAX 560 Tech Max 2026 is not just a scooter — it is a symbol of technology, performance, and sophistication on two wheels. With a 562 cc parallel-twin engine, 47 HP, refined CVT transmission, and futuristic design, it delivers a riding experience that rivals that of mid-sized sport motorcycles.

Ideal for those seeking comfort, connectivity, and performance in one vehicle, the TMAX 2026 keeps alive Yamaha’s tradition of creating scooters that define categories.
