What Changes with the Decision Not to Slaughter Animals

On September 16, 2025, Zezé declared that he “does not allow any animal to be killed” on the farm and that the place shelters rescued dogs, in a statement to the channel “Intervenção,” echoed by Terra.

The statement repositions the image of É o Amor, previously mainly associated with cattle production, now also to animal protection.

The change does not erase the history of investments in Nelore genetics and infrastructure, but creates a new public narrative for the property.
