The Education Secretary, through the Selection Notice 2025.1, is offering 11,456 slots for online technical high school courses (EAD). The courses are taught by the State Technical School Professor Antônio Carlos Gomes da Costa (ETEPAC), in partnership with other institutions. This is a unique opportunity for continuing education and professional training for those seeking specialization in various fields.

The offered free technical training courses aim primarily to train professionals to operate in their fields effectively and up-to-date. The EAD modality combines online activities, conducted in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), with weekly in-person meetings at designated centers. The total workload includes classes, seminars, assessments, and other activities that ensure a complete and quality education.

The selection process has 11,456 slots, distributed across different centers throughout the state. Selection Processes

Of the total slots, 80% are allocated to students from public schools, with half of this percentage reserved for candidates with a family income per capita of up to 1.5 minimum wage. 5% of the slots are reserved for adolescents in situations of social vulnerability, and another 5% for people with disabilities. The selection process for the free training courses will consist of an objective test, conducted remotely, covering questions in Portuguese Language and Mathematics.

Registration Requirements

Those interested in the free technical courses must have completed high school for subsequent courses or be enrolled in the first year of high school for concurrent courses. Internet access, a computer compatible with the activities, and submission of supporting documentation, such as CPF, school report, and proof of income, when applicable, are also required.
