Why Buy a Used Car from Mitsubishi?

Used Mitsubishi models stand out not only for their 4×4 traction but also for the combination of durability and confidence in their mechanics.

Although prices vary according to mileage and year, all the mentioned vehicles maintain liquidity in the used car market.

From compact SUVs to mid-size pickups, the options cater to different consumer profiles.

For those seeking a reliable car with a strong presence and good appreciation, Mitsubishi remains a strategic choice among the used vehicles available in Brazil.

About Mitsubishi: From Maritime Trade to the Global Automotive and Technology Industry

Much more than a manufacturer of excellent quality automobiles, Mitsubishi is a conglomerate that has become one of the largest symbols of Japanese entrepreneurship.

Present in sectors ranging from hospitality to civil construction, as well as transportation, heavy machinery, and even the aerospace field, the group has established itself as the largest business conglomerate in all of Asia, operating in over 180 countries and participating in over 200 large companies.

The strength of Mitsubishi goes far beyond the automotive sector. World-renowned brands, such as Kirin brewery and Nikon cameras, are part of the list of companies linked to the group.

In Japan alone, there are over 1 million employees involved in activities that drive different areas of the economy.

The conglomerate also stands out for its investment in scientific research and environmental preservation projects.

Among the initiatives are studies that contribute to combating serious diseases, such as cancer and AIDS, reinforcing the social role of Mitsubishi in the global scenario.

The Origins of the Brand

The group’s history dates back to 1870 when Yataro Iwasaki founded Mitsukawa — a word that means “three rivers” in Japanese. Initially, the company operated in maritime trade between China and Russia, using only three steam vessels.

The success was so great that, within a few years, the symbol of the three rivers transformed into the famous three diamonds, which remains the trademark of Mitsubishi to this day.

In 1873, the company was renamed Mitsubishi Shokai, marking the beginning of a phase of expansion and diversification of its businesses.

The Entry of Mitsubishi into the Automotive Industry

The decisive step for the creation of Mitsubishi Motors came years later, under the leadership of Koyata Iwasaki, the founder’s grandson. Visionary, he saw the potential of motorized vehicles and the impact they would have on Japan’s development.

Thus, in 1917, the first car of the brand was born, paving the way for the company to become one of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers.
