Québec International promotes another virtual recruitment initiative for workers, Journées Québec Amérique Latine. This initiative is organized in partnership with the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) and the Economic Development Corporation of Drummondville (SDED).
Those dreaming of living abroad can look at the more than 200 job openings. Registration is free and ends on September 27. Annual salaries for specialists in the field range from R$ 336,000 to R$ 456,000 per year.

According to the Agency, more than 50 companies are seeking qualified professionals to fill positions such as nurses, programmers, developers, industrial automation engineers, drywallers, electromechanics, machine operators, welders, and industrial mechanics, among others.
Interviews with company managers will take place between October 25 and November 5. Selected candidates will receive an invitation by email. If recruited, the professional will sign a temporary work contract that can range from one to three years. During this period, it is possible to take free online French courses, provided by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration.
Some job openings require at least two years of professional experience, an academic degree in the field, and a good level of knowledge of the French language, which is the official language of Quebec. The platform “Quebec na Cabeça” specifies the requirements for each function and provides various relevant information for those who want to prepare an immigration project for the region. Additionally, to facilitate the application process on the platform, several Q&A sessions will be available for candidates on September 2. Registration is free.
